Track Set Out
1. Description
The set out of the tracks is undertaken on the Thursday morning prior to speed week usually by the Event Coordinator and the Chief Inspector along with a contracted surveyor.

2. Responsability
It is the responsability of the DLRA officals to undertake a thourough assesment of the surface of the lake using GPS to determine the best location for the tracks. The ideal location may also be dependent upon standing water or moisture in the salt or the actual surface of the salt.
Once the tracks have been surveyed and marked the Event Coordinator can instruct the track grooming to commence.
