The "Pirtek Protek Diesel Arrow" in conjunction with the Stan Racing unite once a year and come under the banner of "Team Speed" for an annual event. Team speed consists of three serious machines, Bobs Bowman's 1927 Ford Roadster, Donald Hudson's Monaro and Gavin Manning's truck. Fondly enough all three machines come out of a small shire in NSW (Port Stephens).
Each year, Team speed travel in convoy to Salt Lake, once on the lake, the three machines are situated right next to each other and wave the Team Speed Flag.
The pure existence of The “Pirtek Proteck Diesel Arrow” is attributed to the thousands of hours of dedication from the crew, with special mention to Doug & Gavin Manning and Ben Hardy. The crew (2007)
