Record Holders

The DLRA only sanctions records for DLRA Classes (car and motorcycles) observed at DLRA Speed Week at Lake Gairdner.

Up until 2018 speeds shown were one pass records.
In 2019 the DLRA moved to two pass, average speed records.
All speeds previously attained were ratified as the benchmark for these new records.

The Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) World Land Speed Records are the fastest recognised, official speeds achieved by any wheeled vehicles on land divided into four main categories - not including motorcycles. The record attempts are standardised over a fixed length course and averaged over two runs in opposite directions. It's representative in Australia is Confederation of Australian Motor Sport (CAMS).

The Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM, International Motorcycling Federation) is the governing body of motorcycle racing. The World record attempts are standardised over a fixed length course and averaged over two runs in opposite directions. It's associate in Australia is Motorcycling Australia (MA).
